We built an advanced automation system for a UK-based tyre management company to modernize its retreading operations. Their earlier VB-based system offered only partial automation and could no longer keep up with business needs. By introducing a PDA application for remote operations, a touch screen interface for end-to-end process control, and an admin panel for reporting, we delivered a robust solution that streamlined workflows, improved accuracy, and reduced manual effort.
The project aimed to fully automate tyre retreading operations, covering the journey from receiving worn tyres to delivering remolded ones.
By combining PDA-based remote access, touch screen controls, and a centralised admin panel, the solution eliminated manual inefficiencies, enhanced traceability, and ensured real-time visibility.
